The Hearing Voices Movement claims that 4% of the population hear voices. This is much more than the 1% of the population who have a mental illness that is supposed to be able to cause hearing voices. I think that at least 3% of the population are harassed with voice to skull. |
But people are rarely victim of only one type of harassment. If someone is harassed with for example undesired text messages on his mobile phone, then he will also experience for example harassment on online forums.
If someone is harassed with voice to skull, then he will probably experience also other types of harassment.
If you hear voices, then you should read about other types of harassment. If you discover that you are victim of other types of harassment, then you may assume that the voices that you hear are voice to skull harassment.
There are many types of disturbing behaviour that an untrained person would not recognize as a harassment.
Eleanor White wrote a booklet to introduce the unaware public to organized stalking or gang stalking.
This is everything that you can do to harm someone else in such a way that you won’t be convicted. So this depends also on the credibility of the victim and on the fact that it can be carried out in such a way that bystanders can deny that they see anything wrong.
